So, You Wanna Subscribe to Gallery?

But you've got some questions. Let me hit the frequently asked ones.

How does it work?

Every issue is different. A different number of artists contribute a different number of pages every three months. There's no way to do a simple 4 issue or 1 year subscription, so Gallery uses an account system. Actually this is better, because you get exactly what you pay for. You put money into a subscription account, and only three things are deducted from it - the printing cost of the copy you get, fifteen cents in royalties for each artist in that issue, and the postage and handling to send it to you.

What's it going to cost me?

As I said, the cost is variable, but at the time of this writing, $8 to $10 per issue, plus first class Priority Mail postage within the US. Foreign postage is naturally higher. I suggest you start with at least $30 (there are no one-issue subscriptions). To help you keep track of your account, each issue comes with a statement, so you know exactly how much came out of your account and where it went. If the subtotal on the ticket is less than $15, it would be a good idea to send in more. Some subscribers avoid the hassle and put large amounts into their accounts so that they don't need to worry about their balance for years ($100 is not uncommon).

What happens when I run short?

If you don't have enough for the current issue, you will be notified. Just add to your account and it will be sent out. If you don't by the time another issue comes out, I assume you're not interested anymore and I send you back a check for the remainder of your account.

What do I get?

You get one of the best APA/zines in the fandom. Gallery is HUGE. It regularly runs close to 300 pages with around 30 artists. Some of the best artists in the Fandom are members of Gallery, and some of the most impressive new finds have debuted here. With its exclusive focus on art, Gallery is one of the best values around. With its editorial policy of artistic freedom, Gallery covers the gamut from wholesome cuteness to the depths of depravity - hence the Mature Readers label. I even allow drawings of humans! Production values are high, and the staple and tape binding will not shed any pages.
