PRRR & Mt. Cascade Logo's and Livery Schemes
I would like to show my appreciation to Michael Eby for his blessings to use these drawings for me to paint on. Go to his site at http://trainiax.0catch.com/mescaleloco.htm for other type drawings. Thanks Michael!!
There are several types of liveries and color schemes for both the PRRR and Mt. Cascade. Here are a few samples. For those that want to make their own PRRR/MC skin may do so only if I approve the scheme and making sure it is adhered to. I cannot allow locomotives that are not on this list to be uploaded. There is a PRRR GP38 here and there but, there isn't any Turbine version or any GE U-Boats. However, making any of the below liveries using Alco products other than what's below is entirely welcome. In the fictional sense of PRRR and MC, they're primary motive power was Alco's, not EMD. However, is the sense of "progress", EMD and GE motive power is altogether possible.
The RS-3: The Alco RS-3 (and RSD-4's not shown), have the usual PRRR color
schemes. The main difference is that there is no "gray" top on the
hood. The original colors were gray on gray until the newer paint livery was
used.

The color schemes for both railroads are as follows: PRRR's basic color is Tan (or cream color, not Yellow). The long hood is usually a light gray bordered by either a white or black stripe dividing line. The secondary color is a darker maroon. These usually run on the sides of the running boards or part of the lettering and diamond logo background. PRRR has a total gray, black and white scheme for their MOW equipment and their older F7 Passenger services are tan with maroon stripes and black letterings. One exception to all this was the PRRR Fruit Express F7's. They were entirely Maroon with White lettering. The logo is a convexed diamond that has a maroon background and edged or bordered with either black or white. In the center is a "P" that is usually white in color. Some are off-white to gray.
Mt. Cascade livery colors are much simpler. They use a basic dark blue with a much darker gray on the long hood (top). The use a white strip on the hood borders and the sides of the running boards. Their logo in the letter "M" shaped like a mountain and the letters "MC" are on the nose. Some MS loco's are lettered "Mt. Cascade Mining Company" while the rest is Mt. Cascade. One exception to color differences is the MC Alco M636's. They are Gray and white with white lettering and borders.
